During the summer of 2016, two brothers, Andrew and Tim Webster found themselves frustrated with the mundane work they were providing for cushiony corporate clients. Both successful entrepreneurs in their respectful fields, the Webster brothers sought out to work on a few projects together that would satisfy their creative thirst.
Andrew, a kid who loved to build and create, taught himself to program at the age of 10. By the age 14, he created his first game in Macromedia Flash (later bought by Adobe). What a thrill it was to make something from scratch that would later be enjoyed by thousands of gamers every day. As time went on, he began taking on freelance work to pay the bills. At the age of 18, Andrew started a business designing and programming websites for businesses of all sizes. The business allowed Andrew to be financially free and independent, but over time really didn’t provide a platform for creative outlet.
Tim, the creative one in the family, was a natural story teller, musician and most importantly an illustrator. After graduating with a graphic design degree at Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Florida, Tim started a graphic design business providing clients print / digital media and even animated videos. Finding himself also burdened with the frustration of clients, Tim and Andrew knew they needed to work together.
Using Andrew’s programming skills and experience with game development combined with Tim’s ability to create, illustrate and compose music, they are a dream team.
Being that the brothers were both natural lefties, Lefty Games was born.
